Continuing my education, I specialized in University Teaching at Universidad del Magdalena, Santa Marta, on October 4, 2017, and obtained a Master’s in Public Health, Summa Cum Laude, from Universidad del Norte on July 17, 2020. Currently,  am pursuing a Doctorate in Epidemiology and Public Health at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which began in November 2020. In addition to my formal education, She have completed various diplomas: Nursing Care for Patients with Renal Disease (120 hours, April 24 – June 21, 2015), Pedagogy for Non-Licensed Professionals (480 hours, June 10 – September 9, 2017), Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (120 hours, March 15 – May 31, 2018), and Primary Health Care and Integrated Health Service Networks in Colombia (120 hours, 2018) through the OPS/OMS Virtual Health Campus, Node Colombia. 💉📚🎓

Experience

From January 4, 2016, to May 3, 2018, I served as Chief Nurse in Emergency, Hospitalization, and Maternity at the Universidad del Magdalena, managing both administrative duties and patient care under the supervision of Leonor Candanoza. Transitioning to an academic role, I became a Lecturer from April 14, 2018, to October 1, 2018, and then from February 4, 2019, to October 7, 2019, teaching at the same university. During the pandemic, from October 21, 2020, I took on the role of Leader in Covid-19 Containment and Mitigation at the Santa Marta District Health Secretary. My journey includes enriching experiences as a Home Care Nurse at IPS FUSA S.A.S and as a Professor at various universities, fostering education and community engagement. Currently, as Coordinator of Social Projection and Extension at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia since September 1, 2021, I continue to blend my passion for healthcare and education with dedication and purpose. 🏥
