She completed her high school education at Institución Educativa Marco Fidel Suárez in Ciénaga de Oro, Córdoba in 2010. She earned her Nursing degree from Universidad del Magdalena in 2015 and specialized in University Teaching in 2017. Yenifer obtained a Master’s in Public Health, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Universidad del Norte in 2020. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Public Health at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Transitioning to an academic role, I became a Lecturer from April 14, 2018, to October 1, 2018, and then from February 4, 2019, to October 7, 2019, teaching at the same university. During the pandemic, from October 21, 2020, I took on the role of Leader in Covid-19 Containment and Mitigation at the Santa Marta District Health Secretary. My journey includes enriching experiences as a Home Care Nurse at IPS FUSA S.A.S and as a Professor at various universities, fostering education and community engagement. Currently, as Coordinator of Social Projection and Extension at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia since September 1, 2021, I continue to blend my passion for healthcare and education with dedication and purpose. 🏥
