Mr. Anurag Tripathi is a Group-A Gazetted Geophysicist with the Geological Survey of India under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Banaras Hindu University and an M.Sc. Tech in Applied Geophysics from Indian School of Mines. With professional experience spanning roles as Junior Research Fellow, Assistant Geophysicist, and currently Geophysicist, his work focuses on the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of diverse geophysical datasets, including gravity, magnetic, resistivity, induced polarization, self-potential, magnetotelluric, and audiomagnetotelluric methods. His research interests include geophysical investigations of intra-cratonic basins, cratons, cratonic margins, mobile belts, and their applications in mineral exploration.
