🌿 Dr. H. A. Keller is a distinguished researcher with a Pedagogical Bachelor’s from Escuela Normal Superior N° 2 (1990) and a Forestry Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de Misiones (2000). He earned Ph.D.s in Natural Resources (2008) and Social Anthropology (2016), both with outstanding grades. He serves as an Independent Researcher at Argentina’s National Council of Science and Technology, Professor at Universidad Nacional de Misiones, and Director of the Doctorate in Sustainable Management of Renewable Natural Resources. He authored three books and numerous publications in ethnobotany and anthropology, highlighting his extensive contributions to the field. 📚🌱🧑‍🏫

🎓 With a solid foundation in education, I earned a Pedagogical bachelor’s degree from Escuela Normal Superior N° 2, Manuel Belgrano, in Montecarlo Misiones in December 1990. 🌳 I furthered my studies, obtaining a degree as a Forestry Engineer from Facultad de Ciencias Forestales – Universidad Nacional de Misiones in February 2000. 🌿 My academic journey continued with a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, focusing on the ethnobotany of Guaraní communities, completed with an outstanding grade in March 2008. 🧑‍🎓 I also achieved a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Universidad Nacional de Misiones in October 2016, specializing in ethnobiological studies, again with top marks. 🌱

Dr. Keller has authored three significant books: “La Fotosíntesis de la Cultura” (2017), “Jose Sanchez Labrador S.J. El Paraguay Natural Ilustrado Parte Segunda” (2022), and “Herramientas para el Desarrollo Sostenible en Comunidades Originarias” (in press). 📖🌿

🌟 Received a special mention for the article and conference presentation “Guarani of Misiones and Orchids: Traditional Uses and Guidelines for Sustainable Commercial Use” at the II° Congress of Orchidology and Conservation and 1st meet on Bromeliaceae in Montecarlo, Misiones. In 2015, earned a special mention for the book “La Fotosíntesis de la Cultura” with the Susnik Awards at Andrés Barbero Museum, Paraguay. In 2022, was nominated to join the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society (USA) but declined due to economic difficulties in maintaining the membership fee. Eponyms: Lasiodactylus kelleri, Gaya kelleri, Phaeostemma kelleri, Sida kelleri, and Borreria kelleri. 🌸📘🌱
