Dr. Roland Bruderer is an internationally recognized proteomics scientist and mass spectrometry expert with over a decade of leadership experience in advanced LC-MS technology development for biomedical research and clinical applications. Dr. Roland Bruderer earned his Dr. sc. ETH in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from ETH Zurich, where his doctoral research on cell cycle regulation in mammalian cells led to a Nature publication and was honored with the prestigious ETH Medal. He also completed the Zurich Ph.D. Program in Molecular Life Sciences and obtained a Diploma in Biochemistry from ETH Zurich, building a strong interdisciplinary foundation in molecular biology and analytical chemistry. Professionally, Dr. Roland Bruderer has held progressive scientific and leadership roles across academia and industry, including postdoctoral research positions at ETH Zurich and the University of Dundee, where he developed innovative mass spectrometry-based subproteome analysis methods that resulted in both high-impact publications and commercial products.
